Comedie Francaise
French national theatre (for both comedy and tragedy) in Paris, founded in 1680 by Louis XIV. Its base is the Salle Richelieu on the right bank of the River Seine, and the Théâtre de l’Odéon, on the left bank, is a testing ground for avant-garde ideas

Chez Michou
Everything here is shades of blue--the setting, the MC, the spotlight. The creative mind behind the color and the cross-genderism is Michou, a veteran impresario with a bevy of 20 or so cross-dressing bells lip-synching in costumes paying tribute to American and French female entertainers. Folies Bergere
Located at 8 rue Saulnier, in the 9th Arondissement, it was built as an opera house by the architect Plumeret. It openend 2 May 1869 as the Folies Trévies, with fare including operettas, comic opera, popular song and gymnastics. It was renamed in the Folies Bergeres on 13 September 1872.
