Theatres

With a simple click get a list of all the theatres in Paris. Sorted according to category

Comedie Francaise
French national theatre (for both comedy and tragedy) in Paris, founded in 1680 by Louis XIV. Its base is the Salle Richelieu on the right bank of the River Seine, and the Théâtre de l’Odéon, on the left bank, is a testing ground for avant-garde ideas

Chez Michou
Everything here is shades of blue--the setting, the MC, the spotlight. The creative mind behind the color and the cross-genderism is Michou, a veteran impresario with a bevy of 20 or so cross-dressing bells lip-synching in costumes paying tribute to American and French female entertainers. If you don’t want dinner, you will pay a stiff fee for a drink and must sit at the bar.

Latin Paradise
Le Paradis Latin (Latin Paradise) first came up in 1889 and since then there have been exciting cabaret performances every night. This cabaret is situated on the left bank. Traditional Parisian cabaret with Latin American flavour is what you will get in the intimate ambience of this place

Moulin Rouge
Le Moulin Rouge, is known all over the world for its performances. This cabaret, which is more than 100 years old, has had the pleasure of having great stars like Frank Sinatra as its guest. This place offers the sensational traditional revue from international performers.

Crazy Horse
The Crazy Horse has a speciality. It combines elegance with eroticism. Not a place which believes in vulgarity, here the beautiful topless girls perform the most passionate shows..

Lido
Le Lido has a big advantage. It is situated on the world's most famous avenue, the Champs Elysées. This cabaret houses the well-known Blubell Girls. If the deadly combination of sensuous girls and special effects is your style, this is the place to be.

Folies Bergere
Located at 8 rue Saulnier, in the 9th Arondissement, it was built as an opera house by the architect Plumeret. It openend 2 May 1869 as the Folies Trévies, with fare including operettas, comic opera, popular song and gymnastics. It was renamed in the Folies Bergeres on 13 September 1872.
